Android Malware Threats Increased | The Droid Guy

How secure are your personal details? The
question we often hear everywhere that
emphasize mobile devices, whether Android, iOS or any other operating system. More and more significant increases in the number of Android apps that are Trojanized are expected to rise and target the Android platform. TrendMicro predicted last year that smartphone and tablet devices, especially Android, will suffer from more cybercriminal attacks.

Almost every week there are new Android
devices being added in the market, especially
that the latest OS known as the Jelly Bean (4.1)
had received much of appreciation and good
press over the past months. Google are also
eyeing for their own mobile OS since they have
acquired Motorola Mobility last year. With
these new achievements in the mobile industry,
many reported malware launches have also
threatens everything that the Web companies
are building. These threats could lead to slower
development in stepping higher towards mobile
computing. Although Anti-Virus Software
makers are also doing their best to block the
rapid malware development circulating over
the web, these threats will really continue
whether we like it or not.
