Jesus phone, commonly called
the iPhone, and in 2008 opens
its platforms to developers. Not
only does Apple give developers
70% of the revenue but also pays
their share in 60 days. In this
walled garden the only thing that
matters is quality—the better
your app, the more consumers
play, the more money you make.
Suddenly, Indian entrepreneur
developers could ideate and
create apps in India, at Indian
costs and sell them on iTunes to
Americans. Combined with 99-
cent purchases, it’s a perfect
